Rachel Sharp, member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Real Estate Agent, and Property Manager for M.C. Real Estate, brings both professionalism and a distinctive set of qualifications to the Real Estate Industry. Rachel is currently in her second year of chairing the technology committe board for the Medina County Board Of Realtors. Her drive and passion are the key fundamentals that motivate her in achieving success when servicing the needs of her clients, but it’s her diverse background that makes her dynamically qualified for real estate.
Rachel received a B.S.B.A. with a concentration in Marketing and Advertising from the The University of Akron where she was nominated and awarded the “Most Outstanding Student” among her peers. During her time at Akron she was hand selected to participate in the national Yellow Pages competition for the U-Store-It Company. She also participated with her colleagues to develope a local television advertisement for UNICEF’s Tap Project campaign to help raise awareness and donations for drinking water for third world countries.
After her graduation she pursued her marketing career within the Healthcare Publication Industry at Vendome Healthcare Media. Following her success at Vendome she pursued a path into the circulation department as a circulation analyst within the Home Shopping Network Incorporated (H.S.N.I.) family at Improvements Catalog. After spending a several years in marketing and advertising she decided to take a step back from the demanding corporate lifestyle to nurture her relationship with her two children and focus on family.
Rachel has spent time as an independent contractor in helping small businesses launch their marketing and advertising efforts, and is now pursuing her love in real estate both residential and in real estate investment properties. Her community service endeavors have included serving in the community as a board member on a local nonprofit Safe Harbor of Norton helping those in addiction recovery, a past member of the Norton Women’s Club, marketing chair to Fund It Forward, supported the Norton’s Cub Scout pack 3132. Rachel has recently been ASA101 certified for sailing and continuing her sailing educatio courses. Rachel and her family currently resides in Wadsworth, Ohio area on 2 acres with 18 chickens, 2 cats, 2 dogs, and an incredible enjoyment of the outdoors.
